I'm quite disappointed with your customer service. Despite being a loyal customer to expedia over the years I've been very disappointed with a supervisor I spoke to on 8/25 at 10 PM. I'm trying to process a refund for a reservation 161212290136 that I tried to cancel on your website but was not allowed. This was a 2 day trip that my wife did not take and the hotel reservation could not be cancelled on your website under my account. After a long call with huge wait times finally the rep told me that Expedia will process a refund for a day but is going to charge me for a day to the tune of $160/- despite no trip having occurred and my not being able to cancel it on your website the day before the departure because of technical issues. I was rudely told that it happened because the reservation was done on a guest id and not in my id.in that case I wonder how the itinerary got sent to the same email registered with my account and with the same credit card number. This is a mixup with the reservation which you are penalizing a loyal customer for. I'm very close to complely avoiding expedia as your customer service over phone was very disappointing. As a last ditch effort to remain a customer I'm trying to see if someone will respond.
