French Market Inn... Girls' weekend nightmare - French Market Inn New Orleans, LA

We were all excited for a Girls' weekend in New Orleans. We had tickets for Wicked... Which did not disappoint in ANY way! The lobby was beautiful... If only we could have slept there!
The room felt filthy... We were scared to walk on the floor or put anything down on it. There were no comforters on the beds, one mattress had a red stain on it. The carpet was torn and looked dirty. The bathtub had dark hair in it... So gross! The toilet paper holder kept falling off of the wall and the air conditioner made a gurgling sound all night... Like water continuously rushing through it. No one could sleep for the sounds and since I was lucky enough to sleep closest to it, I got misted at all hours of the night. Very disappointed... My parents should be refunded all or part of what they paid. Putting people in rooms like that is unethical. I stayed in a better hotel in a Honduras on a mission trip.
