Dont trust CheapOair: they need to rebrand as CheetOai

My Wife booked a flight through them last week for a flight 2 month from now. Almost $1000 to fly from LA to NYC with layovers! I looked over the paperwork and could not find the flight class to see if it was refundable or changeable, they don't provide that. So I had to call them and the Indian phone operators they use must be trained NOT to give out this information. All he would say is that it was not refundable. So I called the airlines and found that out flight class was a fully refundable fair (that explains the high price) The airline said that since I did not buy it through them directly I had to contact CheapOair for the refund. At that point I knew we were screwed. I did call them and they refused. The supervisor did finally agree that it was a refundable fair for the airlines, but CheetOair adds on their own non-refundable rule.

Don't ever trust these guys. Before writing this I found many, many similar stories and they have almost 1,000 complaints against them with the BBB.
