Clearwire does not provide clear info to it's customers

Approximately three years ago I signed up for Clearwire. I received a modem for accessing the internet. A year later I recieved another modem. I was not informed about what to do w/the old modem so I just set it aside. About 21 months later I decided to move and thinking the old modem was obsolete I threw it away. Upon cancelling my service w/Clearwire I returned the newer modem. When I received my bank statement I saw that I was billed $74.32 for the old modem. First of all why wasn't I asked to return the old modem if it was of any value. Secondly, how is it that an old and obsolete modem is worth $74.32. Where do they even get that figure? I think Clearwire is scamming it's customers. And, bye-the-way there are many areas where they don't even access the internet. I think it's an outmoded and obsolete technology. You shouldn't waste your time with Clearwire.
