Beware of Foley Marine and Industrial Engine

I sent in a Fuel Pump as it was leaking. They told me in needed a complete rebuild at the cost of $1065. I was suspicious and wanted the Pump back as I knew the wear and tear they were claiming could not be possible. They got angry with me and refused to send the pump back unless I sent them a $300 cashiers check. I live in Florida and cannot drive to Mass to get my pump back. They claimed the $300 was for diagnostic fees. When the pump came back it was in pieces.

I sent the Pump to a company in Orlando and one week later it was returned with new seals all for $325. I installed it in my boat a month ago and it is working perfectly. Please do due diligence when dealing with Foley Marine. They are dishonest. Once they have your parts they have all the power and in order to get my pump back I had to send them a cashiers check for $300 or I would never have seen it again. This company has many many complaints on the internet of a similar nature. If this complaint warns one person off from doing business with them I will feel I have done that person a good turn!!!
