Former Gridley Little League treasurer Eryka Abella was charged with a single count of grand theft by embezzlement, totaling $32,878, which she stole from Gridley Little League, and which she used for personal expenses.in November The Gridley Herald named Eryka and her husband as "Family of the week". Stealing money from kids is sad and disgusting. According to the newspaper, Eryka works as an Instructional Aide for all grades at Wilson Elementary School in Gridley.
