Does not honor their "4 week comfort gaurantee"!

LLF (lifestyle family fitness) contractually guarantees to refund the initial investment paid and the first month's membership fee if the customer is:

1. Dissatisfied in any way with the facility and or services

2. Signs up upon first visit to the club

3. Makes use of the club at on at least 3 seperate occasions every 7 consecutive days of the first 28 days of the membership

LLF does not honor this contractual agreement! I completed all required contractual obligations to receive such a guaranteed refund, but was not awarded the previously stated refund. LLF avoids paying refunds by what I believe to be unethical standard opperating procededures which include:

1. Not properly logging customers in during this 28 day period
(customers are issued a card with a bar code that is to be scanned upon each entry to the club)

2. Employees purposefully attempt to wave you by instead of asking for your card when they know you are new

3. When attempting to cancel and receive refund sales managers dodge call attempts, hang up during requests and deny that required check ins are on file

4. Even when I inquired as to how I could prove I attended via front door security surveillance, sales manager lied and said I did not appear on the tape.

LLF thereby avoids awarding contractually guaranteed refunds by their unethical, immoral and illegal practices by preventing fullfillment of any requests short of a lawsuit and supoena of the security tapes (which would of course not be cost effective to the consumer.)

The dishonest sales manager i spoke to said his name was John.

I promise all above statements to be factual and unexagerated.

I hope legal action will be taken against LLF to help the fitness club business be affordable and accessable to the mainstream. LLF's significant market share and shady business practices make it difficult for honest fitness clubs to stay in business, and they are buying the remaining clubs up daily to achieve a monopoly of the market. With the hidden costs and contractual fine print it's no wonder America is becoming overweight. They've been forcefed enough B.S. To discurage the most determined of us.
