DNS SVC Fradulant "bill"

Shops, Products, Services

We received an item in the mail from DNS Services. It looks very much to be a bill for our annual payment of our domain name and server domains.

We tried to call them to confirm that this was correct. However, we were on hold for a very long time and eventually hung up. While on hold we looked over the "bill" more and looked on-line to find this was only an advertisement.

At the bottom it says "This is a solicitation for the order of goods or serviced, or both, and not a bill, invoice, or statement of account due. You are under no obligation to make any payments on account of this offer unless you accept this offer."

If we didn't see this statement at the bottom (easily looked over), the entire rest of the mailing looks to be a bill for our annual fee and even states our current "account number" with them. The "bill" also lists our actual domain name making it look valid.
