DNS SVC, DNSSVC.com invoice, bill, fraud, solicito

Internet & Web

My small business received an invoice for $65.00 from DNS Services after optimizing our website with our domain host. This bill/invoice gives a bunch of cryptic technology terminology in their itemized list of charges; shows my business name with an account number that I understood to be mine within their account; and a $65.00 fee stating that the payment due date is "upon receipt".

Like any other small business owner, I scour our bills and didn't recognize this one, but thought that it could be legit as, like I said, we'd optimized our website. Upon calling their "direct support line" (360-529-5130) I was put on hold after typing in my "account number" for TWENTY MINUTES before looking them up online and finding them on usacomplaints.com. Needless to say I was totally pissed about my time being wasted by a fake support line and the potential of giving them one dime of my money.

At the bottom of this bill, another complainter pointed out, there is text stating "This is a solicitation for the order of goods or services, or both, and not a bill, invoice or statement of account due.
