My fiance has worked for this company for 2 months he was supposed to get paid twice monthly. He has only gotten paid once. He was supposed to get paid again on October 27th Saturday. He has still not been paid. This company is a sub-contractor. They have left the contstruction area without paying any of the employees what they are owed. The General contractor states that they are now taking over. As of 10/29 but still no was has been paid. We have filed a complaint with the Department of Labor but have heard nothing.

We do not know what to do. He needs to work but he has to drive everyday to Tucson, we live in Rio Rico AZ, and with the gas prices he is not able to go anymore because we are broke. He needs to get paid. Please help... If there is anything you can do we really appreciate it there are aprox 20 employess for this company that have not gotten paid.

Yes Everyone is afraid of retaliation. When my husband first started he asked what his hourly wage would be. And the Foreman Luz stated if you want the job stay if you don't then leave. She didn't tell him how much.
