Did not pay a sub-contractor!

My husband is a sub-contractor for concrete and block work. We did sereval jobs for this man. He paid and was real nice to my husband. Then we started another job for him did the footer, footer pour and stem wall and he never paid us our $2,000.00 that was owed to us. He also stuck a family in our neighborhood that we had done the block work for. It took them forever to get their home finished and they had to find a new contractor. He was buliding government homes and ripping people off.

We never really followed up on our money because we are a very small business and then was just starting out really. So didn't really know what to do. This all happend last year in July
