Charges extra months directly to your debit card then sends more bills with PPV that you did not orde

Direct TV is a rip off. When you try to cancel the service, they try to send you to retention hell on the phone call, then when you finally get them to understand that you are cancelling, they tell you that you are in a contract... When you are not. They send a return package for the rcvrs, and when you send them back, you will see a auto debit on your credit card / debit card on file... For the charges they want to collect from you... Even if you dont owe it.

Then, you will get another bill with PPV charges for movies you did not order.in our case, it was from movies that we did not order, from 6 months ago. When we called to complain about these charges, they said that when they get the rcvrs back they look at the cards inside and if you ever even tried to get a PPV movie they charge you for them. We did not even try to get these movies, and why would they charge us for something 6 months later,

When they could have charged us for the movies when we sopposedly viewed them. DirectTV is deceptive, cheating its customers, and sticking it to anyone that is trying to leave them with eroneous charges that they think you have no control over. They are wrong, when they settle a class action lawsuit over this, they will understand they cannot treat their customers like this. I advise to never do any business whatsoever with these crooks.
