Beware of Companies claiming a commitment to diversity

What a hell I lived in. I worked for government contractor that bragged about its diversity. Little do the people who this impacted know that saying that is only in an attempt to gain business.

As a gay man I was ignored, made fun of and treated hostility. Whenever I complained it was also ignored. I was jokingly
called a woman, given religious material to "straiten" my life. I was spoken down to constantly. There are only three gay
people in the company and two were asked to leave. And don't get me started on the Latino culture. When it's time to
get rid of people they will always start with the Latinos. And ALL the Latinos noticed it.
Finally when I started breaking and made formal complaints, mysteriously I was asked a month later to resign. I was told
"they will never accept you".

I was then offered to have my Cobra paid for a year if I agree to sign a separation paper that requires I stay quiet. I will not stay quiet. Of course through the hold process HR never called for anything, not even to return my items. The
owner is just like the Emperor who has no clothes; as long as everyone says to him everything looks good he is happy.

Don't believe me, no... Dont believe me. Look into it yourself, numerous former and current employees said they saw it firsthand. Ironically HR knew for years, even admitted to me behind closed doors they saw it too. But publically never
said anything. Probably why after I left she hid in her office for three weeks.

A quote from management "Government Contracting is a straight, white, male, conservative, Republican business and you would do well to remember that". When I questioned this I was told "I'm just being honest".

No... What you're being is a coward. I can't believe they ever let you put on a uniform.
