So Disappointed With Quality - customer service

I bought a pair of the Hollister Betty's Sweatpants in Hollister, Belfast store in Feburary. Within the first wear a hole appeared in the right leg. I was really disappointed. Since the store is a 2 hour drive away, I only got the opportunity to return them last week (May).

I explained my circumstances to the store manager who was extremely rude to me. She said it is obvious that they have been worn excessively and that I put the hole in them. She then went on to say that I probably have a dodgy washing machine.

This really angered me as the hole genuinely appeared within the first wear and I washed them once. I have my receipt and Hollister where not interested whatsoever!

Not impressed at all! I've bought hundreds of pounds worth of goods from them and they won't even exchange/refund a pair of sweatpants once!

Please help me solve this problem!
