Ancestry.com
Ripoff following trial, credit card or bank account charged no refund

Shops, Products, Services

I cancelled the membership which converted to a quarterly at $99.95 which I was aware of but I was not aware that I would not be able to cancel after the credit card had been charged nor get reinbursement of the money that is for months I have not used their site, that's fraud. Ancestry.com has this trial membership that accesses your credit information then activates the credit charges without recourse if you have not cancelled during the trial period. If theres any discredit and fraud they have established the avaneue for many to follow and they benefit and you become poorer, in fact their quarterly stock holdings should reflect refunds officially.

When I searched for a ancestor whoms real name is Annie Laura Knight, I found only one with the same date of death 1939 but the middle initial is 'S' not 'L' therefore, deception practices are now revealed to show that individuals that have incorrect information entered into government databases that Ancestry.com accesses gathers only that and cannot change the information legally but can order the info as given. Its deception of the worst kind. Without a attorney to represent you in the legal location to make the legal change perhaps County Seat or State Headquarters your out of luck entirely.

The deception will result in a e-mail and a phone call perhaps more than once from Ancestry.com confirming whom you were seeking and what you wanted. If you wanted a copy of a Birth or Death Certificate you could get that from the State so their services are fraudulant.

A legal suit against Ancestry.com to shutdown their illegal activities would suffice.
