Memory Lane automatic billing not requested

Hello. When i joined classmates.com several years ago, i selected the "golden plan" for about $15 a year. It has been several years since i used their service and to my recollection, have not been billed by them until today a charge occured on my credit card statement for $39. I called their customer service number and was told they would cancel my membership, but as for returning the $39, it was non-refundable. What a rip-off. I told them i was never notified of any automatic billing and would never have agreed to it. Companies like this need to be reported as rip-offs and the public warned. Thank you.
