I became a gold member of Classmates.com a few years ago. After 1 year — 1 year! — I cancelled my membership. I haven't been billed since I cancelled. Remember, that was a few years ago. Yesterday I found a charge for $39.00 taken from my bank account by Classmates-Memory Lane. The charge was listed as a recurring debit card transaction. My bank refunded the money as a "dispute" debit. That means the charge will be reinstated after a few days if I can't get the dispute resolved with these scammers. I'm reporting them to every agency I can find!
