People's Water Company
Really suck! Rip off

Shops, Products, Services

I don't how far this company goes for service, but they really suck! People's Water Company is the only water co.in the Pensacola area.

Which, by the way, I thought were illegal. Granted you are using their service, but when you get a bill due for the end of the month and they cut it off by the 4th of the next month, that's a little insane.

They average bill is 25.00 dollars at the most for any family.

How else cuts you off for being 1 week late? My biggest problem however, was when I got a bill for 150.00 for ONE month.

Down the street the city was doing some work on a broken water line. I called People's to ask them if that had anything to do with my large bill.

They said, "No, that's on a different system." Well, I went into their office and asked them to look up my account for my previous 3 years of service.

Again, my largest bill was for 50.00 when we were having a drought here in Florida. I asked the girl if my bill for 150.00 seemed a little odd, to which she replied, "Maybe you had guests staying with you."

I don't know about anyone else, but I think I'd remember having the entire neighborhood staying at my house for that month's bill. I filed a report to which nothing happened. Unfortunatly, we're stuck with them. I'm done venting. Thank You!!!
