Ripoff trying to cancel billing to credit card for 5 months

I have been trying to cancel the monthly billing of my son's Nextel cell phone service to my credit card for over 5 months. The first two months I called customer care. I was told this could be handled over the phone. Each upcoming month, I still was receiving billing to my credit card. I finaly reached a customer care rep who informed me I had to complete paperwork and mail it in. I had to call back to remind them to send this as they never sent it. I printed the form, completed it and mailed it to Nextel. I was assured all paymets would stop as soon as they received it and processed the paperwork. I am still receiving billing to my credit card. Last month one of the reps told me someone was using my credit card illegally and I should contact the credit card company. My credit card company checked into this and found that Nextel was responsible for billing the card. I called them and was once again assured this billing would stop.

Guess what? I once again received my credit card bill with monre billing from Nextel. After over 1.5 hours on the phone this evening, I am feeling frustrated and angry. It seems this was all my fault since I didn't send in the form when I first requested to stop the billing to my credit card (even though I was never told about it). And didn't I know it wouldn't happen immediately? It takes several months for the process to stop. According to the Nextel finace supervisor, all payments should have stopped before the 16th of this month. Guess what? They didin't. My latest billing was done on the 16th.

I found customer care abusive and deceitful. Finance was even more rude and tried to make this all my fault. I only did as I was told by Nextel.

Any way I can get this taken care of? I feel they need to credit me for their past mistakes. They say they only have a 24 hour window to do so. I don't even use Nextel for my service and know I never will.
