I ordered an item on July 12th and received an email confirmation of the order. Several weeks later after I had not received the order OR an email stating a delivery date I called Gander mtn. I was told at that point that the order was going to be shipped until August 9th. I asked why I had not received any notification of such and was not given an answer. August 9th came and went, so today, August 15th, I called again and spoke to a Kathryn. She was very pleasant, but informed me again that it was backordered now until September 6th!!! Once again, I asked why I had not received any notification of such. Once again, I was told she had no idea why. One last note, after my 1st call to Gander I sent an email asking for some answers and have yet to receive a response to that either. Today I cancellled the order. This was the 1st and last time we will ever order from this company and we will surely discuss with our friends and on Facebook. This is a perfect example of unacceptable customer service.
