When I received my current bank statement today, I had a charege to my debit card for $79.95 from CIC Credit Monitoring. I did not authorize ANY charges from them.
I called their 800 telephone number to quwstion the validity of the charge & request a refund. I was informed that I could only receive $70.00, NOT the complete charge. I stated that their actions were theft & frsudulent, I demanded a COMPLETE refund or I wold make a police complaint.
I was given a other telephone number (fax) and told to write a letter & ask for a refund.
I will be reporting this to my bank, the better business bureau, the Federal Trade commission & any body elsew I can find.
Look out everybody! This outfit is a rip off in the truest sense of the word!
