Owed By Experian Unauthorized renewal of fees... CIC Credit Monitoring... How to cancel

I just checked my credit card and noticed an unauthorized charge 8 days ago by CIC Credit Monitoring. I realized that I did order this service one year ago and paid the fee required at that time. I called their cancellation dept # listed on the internet 888-888-8553 and spoke to a rep that advised me I could only get a "pro-rated" refund since it renewed so of the $79.95 charge they would only refund me like $68.00. I then insisted that I did not "ask" for a renewal of their services and demanded a refund in full without being penalized because I was contacting them within the 30 day period of the billing charge. There was no argument. They cancelled on the phone and refunding me within 7-10 business days IN FULL. My advise, KEEP AN EYE on your credit cards and verify any unauthorized charges ASAP! Don't wait 30 days plus to "notice" an unauthorized charge. It's like babysitting, but yeah, that's what it's all about now adays... Babysitting everyone. Good luck!
