Village in the Wood Apt complex, Houston, Texas Raw sewage apparently not an emergency

They have given all the maintenance personnel the next two days off for MLK holiday, leaving no one to contact in an emergency. I was told that since we have a second bathroom, the raw sewage in my master bath would just have to wait until Tuesday, at the earliest, depending on how many service requests they have. This is a terrible policy. I am paying for two working bathrooms, regardless of holidays.

We have lived in the same complex for going on ten years and have had many, many problems with them. There is an extremely high turnover rate for the leasing staff, the maintenance personnel does not/can not fix anything so that it stays fixed. All policies are biased against the residents, crime is becoming commonplace, new fees are being introduced almost monthly, and we are getting no protection or added benefits from these fees. Rents go up at an alarming rate, well over fair market value.

I've lived in several apartment complexes in my life and this is, undoubtedly, the worst.
