Brentwood/Timberlane Apartments are the most horrible apartment complex I have ever dealt with. The maintenance is absolutely pitiful, and due to the negligence of the maintenance it is very very dangerous to the health of tenants. My daughter lived there for a horrifying 6 months. During that 6 months, several work orders were put in to the manager (they went through 3 in that short period) She moved in the apartment in July and the temp was over 100 and she had no aircon, this was never fixed, in December the temp got below 9 and she had no heat, this too was never fixed, she had mold growing in her broken dishwasher that was never fixed, and the ceiling in her bathroom was falling down and this was never fixed!!! By law they were required to fix the aircon/heat with in 24 hours, and they never did!!! My daughter became sick allot. Luckily my daughter was able to stay with me during the heat and cold but what about the tenants that didn't have that capability!!! My daughter was never a day late on rent, did everything the complex asked her to do, gave the required 30 day notice when moving out and the complex turned her in to a collection agency for over 700.00 they say she owes!!! Omg the nerve of these people. They are absolute liars and thieves and I plan to take this all the way to court if I have to. I believe the owners of this complex own at least 5 other complexes in this city. One I know is Park Place Apartments. I don't know the history of any of the other complexes, but if the owners are irresponsible for this complex I have room to believe the others are the same. I would warn everybody not to move into this apartment complex!!!
