900 Direct
Fraudulent Billing Canoga Park

I received a bill in the mail from 900 Direct for $24.75 for a 4 minute call taking place at 3:30 A.M. Supposedly from my home phone number. I called 900 Direct at the 888 number on the back of the bill. I explained that I had not called any 900 numbers and wanted to know what this was about. They played a recording of the supposed person that had called stating that they agreed to pay and that the were over 21. The recording they played was a cheap fake computer generated voice.

They put the bill into "dispute" saying they will do an "investigation" and get back to me. There is no way this call was made from my home, as one, I am asleep at 3:30 A.M., and two, I do not have a phone set attached to my home line, as I only use it for dial-up internet access and my laptop was not on, nor was it attached to the phone line.
