Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

I started receiving bills from 900 direct about a call that I supposedly made in January. The letter stated that I made the call from my home phone. This cannot possibly be true because I do not have a house phone. I am completely digital thru my cable connection.

The most recent letter had "Final Demand" in the subject line.

Here is how this company works. They access your phone # which is attached to your address thru the phone company. They call your home stating that they can give you winning teams to bet on. You hang up the first 20 times they call. Then on the 21st call, your curiosity strikes and you press "1". A message comes on the phone asking you leave your name and #. You hang up. Three weeks later your receive a bill for $120.

How do I know this? I called the # that 900 direct billed me for. I made this call from my cell phone. The person whom answered told me the story about the harrasing phone calls and how it stopped about a month before I received the first bill.

Do not pay this bill, do not give them your credit card # as they request on the bill.

I am gathtering information from people who have been wrongfully billed for a class action lawsuit.
