Today my daughter and I along with her fiance shopped at Sams Club. We had two carts. My daughter was behind a lady in a handicap power chair. The cashier told my daughter after she had been there 5 minutes or so that she was closing she had to move to another register. My daughter is handicap as am I. She has to use a cane to assist her. 3 ladies got into the line my daughter had vacated and the cashier checked them out. All because they were her friends. The manager of the store is Mehmet Ekinci. The register was 11, the time was around 1:45PM. We know that associates are not allowed to check out their friends or family. But yet they allowed this. They compensated us with A ten dollar gift card. Our bill came to 413.64. I still feel the problem was not taken care of properly. The cashier needs to go back to class to learn the rules. As a paying customer I feel that my time is as valuable as anyone elses. Although the checkouts were crowded they should have taken care of the problem. Another customer also told them what happened. Althought the young man was very polite and helpful to us I feel that they should have made them close down and go to another register. They did not. From what we over heard they were teachers. As teachers they showed disrespect to those that are handicapped. These are the people teaching our children. Thank you listening to my ranting for I feel this could have been handled better.
