Fleet Crdit Card Billing
Unauthorized ripoff charges

Dear Sir

My daughter is in the military and deployed overseas for Enduring Freedom War. A charge was put on her bill for a credit card protection fee. This charge was not authorized and I (as the second card holder and her mother) called the Fleet Crdit Card Billing Dept. And stated so.

The person I talked to said the charge would be removed and to ignore the billing. This was in Nov. Another bill came and not only was there the same $15 charge but now a late fee for not paying a bill I was told not to pay.

I again called and the person said that it would be cleared up and again to ignore the bill. Up to this date there were no charges on the bill.

The statement was zero balance in Oct. Now the third bill came and not only is the $15 charge still there but now 2 months of late charges and finance fees.

I again called and stated that the two previous bills was supposed to have been erased and the person whom I spoke to now wants my daugters deployment orders to prove she is really overseas.

I tried to explain that she is in a secure area and not able to let anyone know were our troops are do to the sensitiveity of the war. That were very rude and kept insisting on her orders in order to clear up this matter.

I called the Air Force Base and asked for Finance and they also said that no one is to have copies of orders due to the situation of the War.

I would like to know what can be done to have these charges removed before it ruins her credit for something she did not ask for and all calls prior to this last call was totally ignored.
