JEC, Jackson Energy Cooperative Making up charges, doubled my bill, guessing at meter redings, shut off during Dec with children in the house

Jackson energy raised my bill is 320 when there are just two people living here and neither one of us are home most of the time. We changed all of our light bulbs to the CFL kind as suggested on the site. We turned the heat down to below 70.

I unplugged everything thats not in use and the lights and the tv are never on. My energy charge was like 252 the fuel charge is 45. Last year during this same period we used the same amount and fuel costs were actually MORE expensive then compared to now. There is an environmental surcharge thats about 18 then school tax is like 10... This is getting insane.

When I asked them to provide technical data to me backing their claims I was given the run around. They "claim" to provide a co-op credit program for their members and to call to request the credits to be applied. I called the number provided and left several messages and no one has ever contacted me. Ignoring people and misdirection alongside misinformation while holding you hostage seems to be the company motto.
