Ripoff horrible Monthly overbilling-poor customer service!

I have had Verizon Wireless, DSL and home phone service for over a year now and all I can say is their billing dept and customer service dept is the worst! I am over-billed constantly and they refuse to do anything about it. I am so fed up and I feel like I have no where to turn! They are a big corporate giant and could care less about my problems! They overbilled me in excess of $700!!

I finally got one customer service rep to go through the problem step by step and he agreed that I was drastically overbilled. He instructed me to only pay $127.00. He even contacted Verizon home and DSL and they all agreed. He even brought his supervisor into it and he even agreed that I was drastically overbilled! The next month comes and I think wow, this guy actually did something because the exorbitant amount was taken off my bill, only to discover a bill in my mailbox from a collection agency that they had referred the account to.

UGH! They opened up a second account and put the overbilled amount onto the new account and referred it to the collection agency! So, I call them back and ask to speak to the person named Sean in the Buffalo office who figured out the problem intially. He wasn't in and never called me back.

I got the usual run around with the "let me transfer you to this department." Don't these people take notes??? I had to explain my story a hundred times over! I have wasted so much time on the phone with these people over the many months they have over billed me.

There has been a mistake on almost every bill I have gotten. They have billed us for nights and weekends, billed us for mobile to mobile minutes, even switched my phone and my husband's phone from primary (me) to secondary (him)! I use the phone alot more then my husband does so being switched to the secondary phone really brought on some massive charges! And anytime they do over bill, they expect you to PAY that overbilled amount and be credited later.

This is so aggravating! I wish I knew the truth about Verizon before I signed a two year contract. I am currently searching for a new home phone and internet provider and will probably end up paying the $175.00 cancellation fee on the cellular service just so I don't get overbilled anymore! It is too much stress!

Battling with them on the phone and when that bill comes every month, I am afraid to open it, knowing I will have to deal with them on the phone again! I have never seen such incompetence in a customer service department! They are corrupt and I wish that someone would expose them for what they really are! So many people I talk to experience the same exact issues with this company. I just want to know how they can get away with it???
