True Green Lawn Service in Delaware, empty promises bad bad bad business

Before you even think of getting True Green Lawn Services out of Newport De. Read this first! Just about 2 years of useless attempts and bad business pratices. "Give us a year and we'll give you a golf course lawn", yea right. After close to two years of them "caring" for my yard and trees, I called the area manager Kevin Davis who personally came out and inspected my yard and he said "I'm imbarrased" at your yard which they had been servicing for a year. He said he was going to personally take care of my yard and "earn" my trust back in regards to True Green. They came out several times over the course of the next 8-9 months reseeded, treatments at no charge which was the correct thing to do. My yard actually looked worse than before. I called Kevin and again asked he meet me at my house. He did and said since he didn't hear anything from me he assumed everything was fine. So much for personally inspecting my yard. He said it is terrible and said he would order more treatments to make the yard better at no charge to me. We go into lawn is treated, paper on door says "no charge" then I start seeing "auto deductions" out of my checking account for treatments. Called Kevin several times and was "brushed off" with him saying the free treatments were for last year not this year. He also said he would replace a tree that is on it's way out and did not. I plan on taking them too court to recover the monies I did spend and hopefully others will not get the shaft that I did. I only expected them to do what they said, nothing more, nothing less. The more people I speak with the more horror stories I hear. Some of the times the "guy" showed to apply treatments, he was in and out in 10 minutes or less. Pretty good trick considering I"m on a acre of land. Lies and deception.
