I signed up for this through an online survey on 10-26-11. It offered 15 day free trial for $2.95 and a gift card for trying the service. On 11-3-11 I received a letter from Tom Martin CCO for NetDetective. The letter explained their services, which was not what I expected.

I tried to login following directions on letter. Could not get signed in! I called the customer service # on the letter but got no answer, so I called the phone number showing on credit card statement. The lady on the phone was quite curt and told me that my account would now be closed, as requested.

I asked for a refund of the 2.95 but it is non-refundable but I could still use the service until the trial expired on 11-9-11. Your 15 days begin the moment you first contact them. Just think about how many $3 charges they collect for nothing! Not to mention how many people don't call immediately and end up paying more.

I can't say anything about the service they provide because I could not get signed in! I just want my $2.95 back!!!
