Beyond Terrible Customer Service

I have been trying for the last few days to place an order for a few pairs of shoes online, however the system was not working and rejected my order. I called customer service and was told the system was not working and to try again the next day. I did so, and I discovered the shoes I was trying to order were no longer available in my size, I wear a size 5 which are very difficult to find. I selected a couple other pairs and again tried to place an order which again did not go through. I called customer service again, this time to place the order via phone. Here is when problems arose. The customer service representative was very helpful at first, but when my order did not go through she returned to the phone a different person. She told me my account information was locked because of repeated order attempts. When I asked questions about how this could happen, and what options I had, because I did not want to lose out on the other shoes I had selected and wanted to know if there was any way to put them on hold anywhere, I was rudely yelled at, accused of identity fraud, since apparently I must be doing something wrong to lock out my information, and told there were no other options to get the shoes I desperately wanted. She basically told me that other people who really wanted the shoes had more of a right than I to purchase them and that I would have to deal with it and wait 72 hours. I have never been so poorly treated and could not believe the service I received! When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told I would have to wait until one was available and then was rudely put on hold, where after waiting I hung up. I will be sure to tell others who shop at Aldo Shoes about this poor customer treatment because it was completely unprofessional and rude beyond belief! I have worked several years in retail at Nordstrom and Victoria's Secret and had I EVER treated a customer even remotely like this I would have been fired on the spot. It is so sad that the former "customer is always right" doctrine is no longer in service.
