I went to the Aldo store and liked a shoe that I wanted to buy. Unfortunately it was not in stock so the store associate suggested I place an order and can pick it up in a week. I placed my order, paid for in full on December 23rd and was promised that my shoes will arrive by Jan 1, which sadly never happened. I was told I would receive a call as soon as the shoes were available for a pick up. I waited for a couple of weeks but nothing and then finally went to the store on Jan 15th only to be told that they can't track my order. The order has not been shipped. I was told to check back in a week, which I did again and the same thing. They still didn't have my shoes. Aggravated for obvious reasons, I asked to cancel my order and the store associate told me that she can't cancel my order here at the store and that I will have to call customer service to cancel and then come back to the store for my refund. What kind of a business process is that? I was just so aggravated with their behaviour.

I called customer service to cancel my order, and the operator was courteous but didn't care to know the reasons for my cancelling the order. Even when I tried to complain, I was told that I will get my money back within 2 days. It has been 10 days since that call and I am still waiting...
