Never switched service overcharged me will not refund due to my cancellation after contract expiration Nationwide

I called AT&T to switch my calling plan back in November. They told me it would be in effect on December 2. I got my December bill and was charged for calls that should have been included. They NEVER switched me! I called on December 26 to find out what happened and asked for a refund.

I was told that the paperwork was never filled out but that I should be switched in 10 business days and the refund dep't would call me. Needless to say, I never heard from anyone. I got my January bill and almost choked. My contract expired at the end of January, so I switched to Nextel. AT&T tried to charge me an early termination fee, but I explained that Nextel switched me too early, so it was waived.

The next thing I know, I'm being sent to collections for $250, plus receiving bills from AT&T for another $200. When I called to find out why I was being overcharged with my previous 2 call dates and names of customer service reps, I was told that they would NOT refund my money because I cancelled my service.

I cancelled because they RIPPED ME OFF!!! They charged me for calls that should have been included in the plan that they were supposed to switch me to. So, because they screwed up twice, I am now indebted to them for over $450!!!

AT&T Mobility continued to charge me for service for two months after I switched to Verizon, charged me an end of contract fee after the 2 years had expired and sent me to a collection agency for the extra $700!
