Z-Tel Communications customer service is the worse I've ever encountered

I have been through some hard times this year and twice had my phone shut off this year for non-payment. When my phone was shut off I immediately paid by phone the amount owed to get my phone turned back on.

They assured me that it takes 72 business hours to turn the phone back on. The first time my phone was shut off they promised the 72 hours, but it turned into 9 DAYS!!!

They had my money, but I did not have a phone. Just this week my phone was shut off so I paid them $480 to have my phone turned on.

They again assured me that my phone would be turned on in 72 hours. I made not with the customer service agent that it took 9 days last time and that it better not be a repeat situation. As of last night at midnight (Friday night) my phone was to be turned back on.

This did not happen. I called this morning and they could not explain why my phone had not been turned back on.

They won't do anything over the weekend so now I am having to wait the weekend until Monday to deal with this situation. The customer service agent told me she would notify her supervisor in writing of the ordeal and that Monday would be the earlest anything would get done.

This is the same thing all over again. Last time I threatened to go to every newspaper and television station, the FCC and the better business bureau. They pretty much laughed in my face. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
