Very unimpressed with SEND.com!
We tried to arrange for a gift delivery to our friends' hotel room in vegas for their wedding day. After receiving a confirmation email agreeing on the correct date & address for delivery, we trusted that the gift (an expensive bottle of champagne) was on its way.
4 days after the agreed delivery date I received an email saying that there had been a problem, as the local vendor had not been able to source the chosen product... 4 days later! There had been no communication earlier to suggest whether a substitute gift might be suitable - our friends missed out on receiving any gift from us on their wedding day. As far as they knew at the time we may as well have completely forgotten about them.
SEND.com were hard to get hold of and when I finally did they offered a refund but no compensation whatsoever. I think this is poor customer service - you would think that the most important feature of a delivery company is to deliver the gift & to deliver it on time!
