Compact Appliance blackmails, threats, refuse to produce company policies, rude

I purchased a washer from Compact Appliance, Old Dominion is their contracted delivery company. When the delivery person arrived at the building (an hour after his scheduled delivery time of between 10 am and 5pm. He only arrived at 6pm. When I told him he was late and that this had cause me to almost lose my job. His reply was a shrug and "maybe."), he refused to get out of his vehicle and refused let me see the merchandise. He insisted that I must sign the form first which indicates that I accept the delivery, or else, he was not going to let me examine the merchandise I purchased. When I asked to see the company's policy, he refused to produce them.instead, he insisted on me signing the slip saying that I refuse to accept the merchandise so he could drive off to his next customer. After I signed, I asked for a costumer's copy, he refused to produce them. So I kept a copy to myself, only giving him the other half of what I signed. He first insisted that if I give him the paper back, he would produce me with a customer's receipt but I did not trust him and insisted on him producing the receipt first before I give back this paper. To my surprise, he yelled at me, accused me of stealing and threatened to call the police. I told him to please do as he pleased. At the end, when I was about to call my lawyer, he finally acknowledged that that the receipt I took was indeed a consumer's copy and drove off.
