Free $50 Gift Card is a scam

Www.freecardirectory.com advertises a free $50 gift card if you signed up for their service. That is false advertising.

The www.freecardirectory.com site said nothing about having to make an ADDITIONAL purchase in order to receive the gift card. Their site implies that when you make a purchase to subscribe to their site you will receive a free gift card.in reality, after you subscribe they give you a link to that company that offers a free gift card IF you sign up and pay for an additional offer (like a credit card or some other service requiring a purchase).

The issue here is, I ALREADY made a purchase by subscribing to freecardirectory. I shouldn't have to make an additional purchase to receive the gift card they promised and advertised. I already should receive it as a result of the initial purchase to freecardirectory.
Also the service itself is a scam as there are very few links on their main page and a few of them are dead.
