AFM Scam! Did not complete work agreed to in contract for deck. Took my money did not finish work and did not provide required City documents. Do not use at all costs!

Afm scam. I made the unfortunate mistake of contracting with AFM which I now know stands for
"A Freaking Mistake". They were contracted to complete deck repair for my house and failed miserably. They did not complete the work, did not complete the proper paper work with the City, charged me for services and work not performed and then decided to not return phone calls, emails and closed the office without notification, only to reopen and want more money. This company is in the dictionary under SCAM artists. The owner AL does not have a voice mail set up anymore, probably due to the multiple angry clients in Chicago, does not respond to emails and will tell you one lie after another to try and stall for time. This company told me so many lies, I could write a book on the bs they serve up. AFM sent out different work crews at unscheduled times did some work but not completely, the work completed did not pass city inspection and more work needed to be done. AFM Remodelers IS the one home improvement company everyone should stay far far away. AFM remodel is a complete fraud DO NOT USE OR EVEN CONSIDER.
