Horrible customer service and deceptive practices

I signed with T-Mobile about 1yr ago because I needed a family plan and the carrier I was with for over 7 yrs did not offer it. BIG MISTAKE!
First, I only qualifiied for Flex Pay because of my credit, I agreed because I was basically paying for my monthly service up front with my other carrier anyway so it was no big deal. When I finally qualified for a regular plan T-Mobile wanted to charge me extra for the services I had on flex pay, they called it an upgrade in service HA!
I threatened to switch carriers and they gave me the deal I wanted but had to have 2 seperate accounts instead of a family plan with 2 lines.
About a month ago I stopped into a T-Mobile store because I was having problems with my phone and the rep there told me I could have a family plan and switched it for me of course this restarted my contract then 3 days ago my service was suspended for non-payment, confused I stopped again into the store and the same rep told me I had an outstanding balance of $183.00 that included a past due amount, thing is I paid my bill online in the amount that was on my account.
So now it is my fault that T-Mobile screwed up my billing and I didn't pay what was actually owed. At this point in time I do not have the amount needed to restore my service.
I am soooo completely disappointed with this company, will never recommend them to anyone and am thinking about trying to find a way to get out of the balance of my contract without paying an early out fee!
