Ripoff refuses to sell merchandise

In December my 22 year old boyfriend and I went to Walmart to purchase a housewarming gift for his sister. We bought her a house plant, dvd's and a six pack of Mikes Hard Lemonade (her favorite). We were in the express lane with at least 15 people behing us due to the holiday.

After the zitty prepubescent high schooler scanned all items he then asked for my boyfriends id which he handed over. He then asked to see my id also. Because I only 20 and my boyfriend was buying everything I refused because I don't have to. The cashier stated that it is Walmart policy to card everyone in the party that is purchasing the alcolhol. I then asked if a dad is buying beer and has his kids are with him if he will be refused because his kids are underage. The cashier refused to sell the beer and even called over his supervisor who also stated that because I was present the beer could not be sold. At that time the people waiting behind us stated that I should go wait in the car and agreed that was the stupidest thing they had ever heard. I proceeded to go the car and wait to leave.

When my boyfriend came out, he had no beer and no gifts. The supervisor told him to leave and would not help him further because he knew I was waiting in the car for him.

Is that not the dumbest thing you ever heard?
