I entered into the Equal Payment Plan, only to be told that I never entered into that program. Now I have produced the proof (through records) and the company is refusing to compensate me for the ast

This company has a reputation for having a staff that is rude, condesending unprofessional and refuses to provide general information. When speaking with Jerome #277117, Ashley, Tracy, Angela, Kelly, Ty, Gail, Kelly or Neil. They all give the scripted version of how sorry they are that this has happened, yet provide no clear understanding of how they are going to resolve the problem. I have requested my records for the past two years and are also sending my records (which they probably expected for me not to have) to them to show that in fact I was on the Equal Payment Plan. I was removed off the plan without my knowing and during the winter months is when this company acts with a MOB mentality to place the screws on consumers. They expect for no one to question them on this information. My hope is that this company will start to offer a correct pricing guideline which is in line with other energy companies. The monopoly that Duke Energy has here in the south makes home ownership unpleasant at best. To deal with the attitudes and rudeness of these individuals is unbearable. The customer service staff also refuses to give the corporate address to the company and they company president information, which by the way is James E. Rogers 526 Church Street Charlotte, NC 28208 (704) 594-6200. It is appalling to have to deal with a company such as this and if I have to take time out of my busy schedule to make certain this doesn't happen to another individual, then so be it.
