I needed a lien release recorded and a copy made for my loan officer to close my home loan. I paid Express Connection $148.00 to do the job. They were supposed to email me a copy of the recorded form and a confirmation number with in three hours. This was on Friday. They are supposed to be open 24/7 according to their web site. I could not contact them until Monday because they were closed on the week end.

They gave me the confirmation number Monday. They wanted to charge me another $148.00 to go back and get the copy they were supposed to get Friday. This is going to make my loan take another week to close after we get the copy. Since they did not get the copy when it was recorded, the copy will not be available until Tuesday after 4:00 pm. I only have until the 30th to move because the rental house has been red tagged by the city. Because they did not do their job, we might not get the loan to close in time.
