Rent 1st Breaking Appointments

Several appointments have been made to Rent1st in Phoenix, Az. To have someone come out and service my rented washer and dryer. The first appointment was for them to come out Friday, June 10. I waited all day, no one showed up. When I spoke to a representative on Saturday, he told me the truck had a flat tire on the freeway. So I went ahead and made another appointment on Monday, and guess what? That's right, no show-up. Unbelievable. I've been holding off doing laundry till they finish, but it looks like they will just show up whenever.

The other thing I can't stand about them, is that the day the monthly bill is due, the phone calls start. Unending harassing phone calls about once every hour until the bill is paid. These people are incredibly unprofessional. Have you been in one of their stores? Nothing but badly used appliances and outdated PCs. It is a wonder that when about two years ago I managed to obtain near new washer/dryer set. OK, here's some helpful hints about Rent1st: whenever they tell you that they will do something, you can always expect them to go against their word. Don't expect good customer service, otherwise, disappointment will be rough. And, um, just look elsewhere. Rent1st is not the only appliance rental source out there. Believe me, if I would have known about these issues beforehand, I would have most definitely gone elsewhere.
