Hard Drive Missing From Shipment and $100 Insurance Claim Denied

I sent a hard drive via a UPS Store. The clerk helped me package it. When the package arrived at its destination, the hard drive was missing. It was apparently stolen en route. The package was insured for $100. I filed the claim, but UPS refused to honor it. Their response was that the box was old and poorly packaged and the hard drive fell out of it. However, the box was new and was packaged by the UPS Store clerk.
