MyFico
False advertising!

Shops, Products, Services

On May 20 I signed up for their 10 day FREE trial for both my husband and I. I cancelled on 5/30 and to my calculations, 20 10= 30. Nope. Here's my confirmation email:

"About your FREE 10-Day Trial
3 days before your 10-day trial expires, we will contact you by email to notify you of the upcoming conversion of your trial to an monthly subscription. If you do not cancel prior to the end of the 10-day trial, you will be billed at the monthly subscription rate of $14.95 when the 10-day trial expires. A three month minimum subscription applies."

What they don't tell you, not eve in fine print is that they are clocking you HOURS! Not days. So FICO, you are providing false advertising and I have every intention of filing a complaint with the FTC, the Attorney Generals Office and the BBB. I know legal contracts when I see one as I deal with legal contracts every day.

I spoke with the floor manager Ron who would not give me his manager's name and told me basically I could look it up myself. My question is this; is this how they WANT their customers? Wow! They offer a 10 DAY free trial not a 240 Hour free trial, but when you cancel it's hours not days. Does anyone else see a problem with this? And I think this company needs to go out of business if they need to rip consumers off that bad that they want to split hairs with their OWN ADVERTISING! I mean come on now guys, I have it in print!

Oh by the way... They didn't bill me until 5/31 (which by my calculations of 20 10=30 then bill), and I cancelled prior to the billing! I'm saving this email for Capital One as I charge back their illegal & fraudulent charges. Our written agreement was 10 days, NOT 240 HOURS MYFICO!!
