Unauthorized charges

Beware of the free trial offer!!! I sent away for a free trial of Acai Berry which indicated you only needed to pay for shipping charges. I received the free trial, then was billed $29.95 from the fit-factory. I was also immediately billed for a subscription for the product on a monthly basis (over $80!!) even though I never signed up to receive anything. I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card and was given credit, however, the next month the $29.95 charge appeared again. The credit card told me it was for a subscription — which I did not sign up for. I called the company and after several attempts was given someone who hardly spoke English. I explained that I did not authorize this, and did not sign up for a membership to his site. He said that when I received the free trial, I was signing up for a membership to Fit Factory. There is nowhere on that free trial offer that indicates anything like this, so be wary of these "free" trial offers when you sign up. He tried to get me to say that I was cancelling my subscription, but I instead told him at least three times that I never signed up for a subscription and was disputing the charge. He said he would cancel the account. I have gone so far as to cancel my credit card so that these people cannot keep charging me. This is clearly a scam. If you need a telephone number for the Fit Factory, try 806-407-1022. I was finally able to get through to someone on this number.
