Prepaid Phone Showed No Balance Hours After Adding $50 Minutes

Purchase new pay as you go phone $49.00 from Radio Shack with a Boost Mobile plan. We applied $50 for the prepaid minutes. We purchased the phone 5/13 am. 5/13 we tried to make a call but phone said we needed to add more money to the phone. Question? What happened to the $50 I placed on the phone. When taking the phone back to Radio Shack they were happy to take the phone back and to return our money since it was a cash transaction. Boost is say no refund... But what happened to our $50 dollars prepaid minutes? You cannot reach a customer service person a Boost. I spent an hour and 20 minutes and counting and finally I am calling Sprint and still struggling.

Basically Boost stole $50.00 from me.
