Deceptive, lies, rude, poor service

Price initially quoted was doubled when furniture was picked up.

Had to fly out-of-state for delivery in promised time-frame and made flight arrangements based on salesman's proposed delivery date 2 months from date of contract and deposit paid. Upon arrival to North Carolina called Apollo to find out time frame for delivery
Was then told delivery would not be for at least 2 weeks, even though I had spoken with Mr. Eddie Cullen a day prior to my departure from NY and he told me that the furniture would arrive within a few days from when it was picked up on 2/15. Spoke to Edna Seltzer, President of the company who was rude and dismissive. Said that she would try to arrange for deilvery before our return flight to NY and would call us back. We called each day with false promises made and no delivery.

Delivery was one month after pre-arranged date when contract was signed. We called daily from NY and each time were told that we would get a call 24 hours prior to delivery. No phone call ever came and a month later we received a phone call from the driver that he was 2 hours from the delivery address in North Carolina. We then had to scramble to hire someone to be there to receive the items.

Several items arrived damaged, and we have filed a claim through the Better Business Bureau.

I would never recommend this company. I have since found many many complaints against them on several websites.
